The Research and Development (R&D) Cell of PSN Institute of Technology and Science (PSNITS) was established during the academic year 2018 - 2019 to promote and support research activities among faculty members, scholars, and students. The primary objective of the R&D Cell is to formulate effective strategies for scientific and technological research and ensure their successful implementation.
The Cell actively encourages supervision of research, initiation of innovative projects, and the promotion of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. It also facilitates academic collaborations with national and international institutions, universities, and industries. The R&D Cell supports both government-funded and privately funded projects that contribute to the development of new or improved products, processes, and research outcomes. These activities further lead to quality publications, intellectual property rights (IPR), and technology transfer, thereby enhancing the institution’s research excellence.
